Irthington Social Committee
Irthington Social Committee raises funds throughout the year for the benefit of various age groups within the Parish. Each Christmas the Social Committee funds a Christmas Party for Senior Citizens and also a party for children (up to secondary age) in Newtown Village Hall. In the summer a family trip to an attraction such as Lightwater Valley and a trip for Senior Citizens are arranged and subsidized.
